Bringing the warmth of the pastoral care ministry by being debriefers for others, FPCAP members volunteered and answered the Integrated Professional Counselors Association of the Philippines' (IPCAP) call to give psychological debriefing for helping professionals in Baguio City last October 29 to 31, 2009. The activity was primarily held at the Waldo Perfecto Auditorium of the Saint Louis University.

Rene Arcilla, Joy Dee, Tetchie Viduya joined Dr. Pearl Polestico and Fr. Bernard Collera, SVD on a three-day therapeutic journey with psychologists, guidance counselors and HRD personnel who attended to the victims of Typhoon Pepeng. On Day 2 the counselors visited the towns of Irisan and Puguis where many people died due to landslides. Survivors shared their personal experience of tragedy and pain with the visiting counselors. On Day 3 the group also conducted psychological debriefing training for graduate psychology and guidance students.
