Training on Mental Health Response

Last June 21 to 22 the Family and Pastoral Counselling Association of the Philippines conducted the Training on Mental Health Response to raise advocacy on mental health issues in the community and school settings. This was held at the F. Benitez Alumni Center, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. The two-day event covered topics on dealing with depression, suicide ideation behaviors, panic attacks, PTSD, adults' traumatic events, children's traumatic events and dealing with senior citizens: 65 years old and above. Fifty-six participants attended the training and got their pins and certificates as mental health initial responders.
