Fely K. Claviolo passed away at 73

FPCAP announced with sadness the untimely demise of Fely K. Claviolo on July 18, 2015. A very dear friend of everyone, ever proactive as a student, highly passionate in serving the demarginalized in society, Fely will be missed by her family, friends and colleagues. She was almost near of completing a doctorate in family psychology which would have made her family proud of her. She is survived by her four children: Patrick, Cynthia, Catherine and Paul John.

9th Counseling Cafe Rock and Roll in Katipunan

With the topic Counselor Wellness in Focus, the 9th Counseling Cafe had a resounding success with the biggest participation of counselors from nearby institutions held last June 27, 2015. The helping professionals braved the rainy weather and flocked at the Cafe Sweet Inspirations, Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City from 2 to 5 pm.

The forum was hosted by Ms. Techie E. Viduya. Participants included Harriet Hormillosa, RCW Executive Director, and her staff.

Seminar Workshop in October

Learning Hub presents a one day seminar-workshop on Illuminating Families in a Digital World this October 23, 2015 at the Benitez Memorial Alumni Center, Ylanan Street, U.P. Campus, Diliman, Quezon City (click to see map). Seminar topics include Navigating Parent-Child Conflicts at Home with Mr. Renato P. Arcilla as resource person and Dealing with Multi-Faceted Family Structures and Dynamics to be discussed by Mr. Rolando C. Delos Reyes II.

Workshops in the afternoon include Journeying through Solo Parenting with Ms. Maureen N. Sandejas facilitating and Dr. Alda Perlita S. Polestico handling the workshop Plugged-in Parenting: Connecting with our Kids in a Wireless World. Participants' fee is PHP 1,500.00 that includes snacks, lunch and certificate.
